Description

Salary: £28-38k but dependent on experience
Key benefits: Electric car
Start date: ASAP

Joju Ltd (Joju Solar & Joju Charging) are seeking an Account Manager/Business Developer to handle key accounts and sell new business across the south of England. You will be working mainly on electric vehicle charging infrastructure so experience of this sector will be an advantage, but you will also be required to cross-sell photovoltaic and energy storage technology.

The key requirements of a Joju Account Manager/Business Developer are:

A bright and friendly personality

This is by far the most important attribute of an account manager. You need to be someone that clients will warm to.

The ability to work alone

You should be a self-starter but it’s also important that you’re not afraid to ask questions of your colleagues when you’re stuck.

Perseverance and determination

You need to spend time every day thinking of new ways to advance the interests of our clients and how to turn prospects into clients.

An understanding of technology headlines

You don’t need to know the detail of a particular technology, just how it can benefit our clients.

Good organisational and administrative skills

You will need to document every action you take in our customer relationship management system and be extremely clear with your colleagues about how you got from A to B with any particular client.

Concern about the climate crisis

Last but definitely not least, we want you to work for us because you care about the environment and because you want to make a difference, not just because you need a job.

You will be able to use our Oxford office if that’s convenient for you, but we expect you to be mostly working from home. Joju will provide equipment for safe and comfortable home working (computer, telephone, ergonomic furniture etc.)

Applications from women and BAME candidates are particularly welcome.

Please send a short letter of motivation and a CV to Alexis Rowell, Business Development Manager, Joju Ltd via alexis.rowell@joju.co.uk.

About us: Joju was founded in 2006 as a response to the climate crisis. We design, install and maintain solar PV, energy storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
