EIA Project Manager

A leading renewable energy consultancy is looking to hire an EIA project manager for its offices in the North of England. You will be joining a team of EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) specialists who cover the North-East and North-West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual.

Responsibilities include:

·         Travelling between project sites looking at the EIA requirements for various renewable energy projects in the North

·         Giving advice on a wide range of projects including wind farms, biomass and offshore wind

·         Developing strong relationships with key counterparties including clients, other internal teams and legal & compliance

·         Supervise more junior team members and oversee the reports they produce

·         Using your knowledge to help clients secure land acquisitions

·         Review the environmental information produced by other teams

Skills required:

·         At least MSc level education in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline

·         A strong background in renewable power either from an engineering or a consultancy perspective

·         Strong understanding of the need for business development within this role

·         Proven success in writing reports related to EIA

·         Provide technical knowledge and support to clients throughout the application process
