Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementations for Safety programs
  • Excellent knowledge Industrial OHSA and regulations
  • Safety committee involvement in an industrial environment
  • ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 preferred knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Manage the environmental compliance and environmental management system requirements for a manufacturing facility
  • Implements EHS programs to address government regulations standards may include: OHSA, MOE, MOL, and/or other governmental regulatory agencies as necessary fully addressing their implications on the facility
  • Completes complex written programs required by regulatory authorities
  • Performs and ensures the completion of all employee training in EHS policy and procedures
  • Completes thorough investigations of complex incidents
  • Recommends solutions and potential resources to implement improvements to EHS issues/challenges
  • Participates on EHS project teams
  • Performs full range of standard work for the professional field
  • Refers complex unusual problems to others Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations

Qualifications

 
  • Successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, TDG, NPRI and hazardous waste management
  • Experience in managing environmental compliance for a manufacturing facility
  • Candidate must be available to work/train in Denmark as required
  • CRSP,  BSBA in related discipline
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
  • Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of particular area of specialization
  • Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues
  • 5-8 years of successful experience
  • Must have an environmental background
  • Must have experience with Industrial settings
