Primary Responsibilities:
Support the Construction EHS Director as required to manage and oversee the construction phase and provide direction, supervision and support of projects site safety. 
• Create consistency across the business units that align roles and jobs with the required safety structure and roles to implement and manage safety requirements. Establish organization best processes to integrate EHS responsibilities, and Quality Assurance
• Develop and maintain internal processes to create, distribute, and maintain safety reports, dashboards and documentation
• Interface with General Contractors and Subcontractors to assure all SunPower policies, procedures and processes are understood and carried out as required
• Provide support of SunPower’s development group to ensure that all safety requirements are compliant
• Manage Pre-Construction readiness and safety activities in support of site mobilization through commissioning as required
• Assist in the hiring of Site Management Safety Team as required
• Oversee the Project safety budget and schedule as it relates to safety progress, production, resource allocation, field coordination, staffing, unit rates, etc. as required
• Perform site inspections, anticipate, review and document potential Contractor claims as required 
• Assure construction quality control programs are adhered to and construction is performed in accordance with the project requirements
• Manage the safety, health and environmental performance of project site as required 
• Participate in Project Meetings as required
• Provide reports to home office management and Construction EHS Director as required
• Create alignment and consistency between the site work processes, methodologies & procedures & guidelines. Look for standardization & integration wherever possible to provide a consistent application of safety processes and requirements across the sites.
• Identify existing gaps between current site work processes, organizational alignment and the way EHS is managed at all sites. Work with site coordinators to develop action plans to address –identified project safety gaps. 
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Candidate will be required to travel in support of the Projects.
Candidate shall possess a valid drivers license
Able to traverse jobsite while under construction
Candidate shall be required to successfully complete as a minimum the OSHA 30 – Hour Safety Course 
The candidate must be passionate about her or his work, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities. We need someone with superb communication and customer-relationship skills, who is able to understand project management and project safety needs and can drive toward simple and cost effective solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:
BS/BA Degree, Advanced degree a plus
Must have hands-on knowledge of using project management and project document systems, such as e-Builder and Oracle Projects. Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional work experience providing project management, project administration or project controls support services.

• Capable of Managing Multiple Tasks / Assignments Simultaneously
• Proficient in Computer Systems: Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Internet and Email
• Knowledge of Construction Processes 
• Must have ability to learn and adapt quickly, thriving in a fast-paced changing environment
