Teton Science Schools of Jackson Hole, Wyoming is seeking motivated interns who want to develop teaching skills and facilitate institutional operations while working with kids, families and adults in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Teton Science Schools has offered quality education experiences since 1967. Our two campuses sit on the doorstep of Grand Teton National Park, our wilderness classroom where we offer direct learning experiences with the natural world through exploration of the landscape and wildlife.

Responsibilities:

Interns support the implementation of all educational programs for youth, families, adults and conference groups. Interns are provided training and mentorship coupled with the opportunity to develop skills that lead toward successfully teaching lessons on aspects of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Interns will work closely with experienced educators, graduate students and Teton Science Schools’ faculty throughout the internship.

Dates:
Option 1: April 5, 2010 – May 28, 2010
Option 2: June 1, 2010 – August 23, 2010
