The U.S. Green Building Council seeks an Education Production Coordinator who will broadly contribute to the development and delivery of USGBC green building education products, with their work focusing on instructor-led education resources. Products include, but are not limited to, half-day and full-day in-person workshops, as well as online blended learning products. Coordinator will cull developed content into course materials and other product resources, working closely with internal and external subject matter experts, USGBC departments and customer service. The coordinator will work on all aspects of product development, ensuring project deadlines are met and resources are successfully launched. The coordinator is encouraged to bring creativity and innovation to the position.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Coordinate development of USGBC education resources, including:
    • Organize subject matter into final education product, including corresponding materials
    • Collect and edit draft content and materials to produce final products
    • Implement production timeline for education resources through facilitation of planning meetings, monitoring deadlines and quality control of final product
    • Act as the point of contact for vendor, subject matter experts and staff in the production and delivery of in person and online, blended learning products
  • Support education product launch and delivery, including:
    • Support and manage internal and external systems such as: course upload to website, materials upload for printing, marketing plan, course content to extranet, to ready products for launch
    • Oversee successful submission of continuing education (CE) hours to various CE providers. Specific responsibilities include register and maintain content, create certificates, draft course descriptions and manage relationships with CE providers, with the support of Education operations and administration staff
    • Assist in implementation plan to inform/update relevant partners and groups on status of/updates to production timelines of all instructor-led products
  • Support customer service questions related to instructor-led education resource, including:
    • Provide regular updates and training materials about new resources
    • Assist delivery team in response to escalated customer service inquiries
  • Support misc. education resource production efforts as needed

Education and Training Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelors degree required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience required
  • Familiarity with education development, product development, or instructional systems design
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially advanced PowerPoint, Access and Excel
  • Small group facilitation
  • Prior experience working with project/production timelines a plus
