Description

Specific Responsibilities Include

Coordinate development of USGBC online education resources, including:

  • Identify and organize subject matter experts’ work as moderators and presenters for webinars
  • Collect and edit draft content and materials to produce final products
  • Implement production timeline for online education resources, through facilitation of planning meetings, monitoring of due dates, training of moderator/facilitator, and quality control of final product
  • Act as the point of contact for vendor, subject matter experts, and staff in the production and delivery of individual webinar events
  • Support live webinar events

Support education product launch and delivery, including:

  • Administer delivery of webinar subscription program, through regular updates and quality control of registration pages and platform
  • Register courses for continuing education
  • Create content-based quizzes and certificates of completion
  • Act as the point of contact for webinar continuing education support
  • Submit continuing education hours to various continuing education providers

Coordinate the production of USGBC Education Podcasts, including:

  • Gather interviews
  • Develop and pitch story lines
  • Edit audio content
  • Record narration
  • Organize details for promoting/posting online
  • Quality control of final product

Serve as customer service lead for USGBC online education resources, including:

  • Host regular training and calls to update associates
  • Analyze monthly reports on common issues and synthesize information to contribute to continuous improvement of programs

Update and maintain USGBC’s course catalog with respect to USGBC webinars

Support misc. education resource production efforts

Education and Training Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelors degree required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience required
  • Familiarity with education development or instructional systems design
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially advanced PowerPoint, Access and Excel
  • Small group facilitation
  • Prior experience working with project/production timelines a plus

Other Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize projects with multiple and often competing deadlines
  • Ability to work under-pressure to execute live, virtual events
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work
  • Familiarity with digital platforms for audio , video and graphics editing, as well as web conferencing
  • Ability to anticipate program needs and pro-actively consider solutions
  • Excitement about working in a team to produce high-quality, online educational resources
  • Adaptability to new technologies and ability to learn new software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
