Education Ranger (Part-time)                           

Knapdale Forest, Argyll

c. £16k pro-rata

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to lead and organise a programme of public and educational events in and around this ground-breaking trial site in Mid Argyll.

Working to a flexible, seasonal time schedule, you will cover some weekend and evening work in order to lead guided walks, talks and educational group visits for the Scottish Beaver Trial.  You will also engage with visitors, the local community and our partners to help promote the project’s aims, along with supporting volunteers, helping to develop new income streams, and assisting with media and PR work.

Applicants should have experience of educational work and public events, with knowledge of the local area and have the interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to a wide audience with enthusiasm and passion.

Experience in a similar role and a full driving licence is essential.
