Education and Events Officer (Buckinghamshire)

Salary: £12,350 (FTE £20,584)

Contract: Permanent / Part-time (3 days a week)

Based:  College Lake Nature Reserve, Tring

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

We are looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable educator to help plan, develop and deliver our school and family event programmes within Buckinghamshire. These sessions will usually be based at our environmental education centre at College Lake, Tring, but will also include leading activities at schools and other venues around the county.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience delivering environmental education activities to Primary-aged children and will have a good general knowledge of wildlife and habitats.
