Earthjustice, the nonprofit law firm for the environment, is seeking an eCRM Administrator to produce and configure our content on the Convio eCRM platform.

Description: The eCRM Administrator will be in charge of all aspects of Earthjustice's Convio eCRM system. This includes production of all advocacy forms, donation forms, email messages, registration forms, and event configurations, as well as management of reporting and all other Convio tools. The eCRM Administrator will also be responsible for improving and increasing Earthjustice's testing capabilities on the Convio platform, including creating variations and audience segmentations for forms and email messages. The eCRM Administrator will also lead efforts to connect Earthjustice's Convio system to other platforms including offline databases, web platforms such as Drupal and Facebook, and perform other import/export related tasks.

Reports to: Online Director, Communications

Responsibilities:

  • Convio Production & Configuration
    • Create and configure advocacy alerts and call-in alerts, including setting up and selecting targets;
    • Use provided content and direction to develop proper post-action pages, including thank you messaging, redirects, and handling of click-through forms;
    • Develop donation forms based on campaign creative and requirements, including post-donation pages;
    • Use Earthjustice-provided content to produce email messages of various types, such as action alerts, fundraising appeals, or news;
    • Create variations in email messaging such as dynamic content or multiple versions for the purpose of customization and/or testing;
    • Ensure correct message delivery, including cross-browser and mail client testing, scheduling, group selection, opt-outs, etc.;
    • Be responsible for processing delivered materials and creating finished products by pre-determined deadlines;
    • Manage and process constituent messages, and database imports/exports as necessary;
    • Pro-actively identify, test and implement improvements to the user experience, including through Convio-specific functionality;
    • Keep current on new Convio functionalities, product announcements, system updates, and system downtime;
    • Work with Convio Support and Community to diagnose and troubleshoot errors.
  • Coordination and Collaboration
    • Work with staff throughout Earthjustice, including message strategy decision-makers and email producers, to plan and coordinate an outgoing email message schedule;
    • Collaborate with email producers in program and fundraising departments to improve the performance of Earthjustice's email messages, including measures of engagement, responsiveness, advocacy, and fundraising;

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Convio skills;
  • 1+ years of hands-on Convio experience in a direct production role;
  • A willingness to work on fast-paced projects in collaboration with other Earthjustice staff members;
  • Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple requests;

We are currently located ½ block from the 19th Street BART station in downtown Oakland but we will be moving our headquarters to San Francisco later this year.
