Economist-Abu Dhabi

Our client is a global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. They are looking for an economist to join their UEA Economic team. This economics team (an extension from their UK group) delivers economic analysis and consultancy services in areas connected to infrastructure development, pricing strategies, feasibility studies, policy analysis etc. You will be part of this successful business team with other economists who are working on projects related to the power & renewable energy, water & ports and transports sector.

Requirements

  • Excellent academics with degree ( or equivalent) in economics or finance

    •  

  • Post Graduate qualification in economics and/or MBA etc will be a distinct advantage

    •  

  • 2/3 years experience working in a research institute, consultancy on government agency on infrastructure

    •  

  • Demonstrative quantitative abilities (modelling and analysis)

    •  

  • IT literate ( esp. with Office packages such as Excel)

     

  • Fluent in English and ideally fluent in Arabic
