Description
IT Power China office has been short listed to submit a proposal for an internationally-financed policy project for a Chinese Eco-city. We are currently considering candidates for a team leader for the project. The team leader should be an economist. It is a one year project, which is expected to start some time in the second half of 2011. The team leader will be contracted for 12 months, with substantial time spent in China. We may also consider to convert it into a permanent position for suitable candidates. 
Desired Skills & Experience- Post-graduate academic qualifications from recognized educational establishment
- Minimum 15 years "hands-on" experience, including at least 5 years as team leader or deputy on international assignments
- Significant experience in urban environment with experience in sustainable transport, GEF Projects, institutional reform, capacity building and energy sector
- Substantial experience in China
- Proven networking, team-building, organizational and communication skills
