Programme Leader
(2 year project supported by the HLF Skills for the Future Programme)
Salary: £25-30k per annum - plus conditional end of project bonus
Location: Edinburgh/Central Belt

At the forefront of wildlife conservation in Scotland with over 36,000 members, we have an amazing network of wildlife reserves and conduct an impressive range of practical conservation projects and environmental campaigns.

We now have a new, exciting opportunity for a motivational leader and exceptional field ecologist to establish and lead a team of 10 paid trainees working towards a new Professional Development Award in ecological surveying.

The successful candidate will deliver field and classroom learning and assessment and by the end of the programme will bring out the very best, in what we believe, will be the best field ecologists in Scotland.

Applicants must hold a degree or a matched vocational qualification in a relevant
discipline, and be able to demonstrate achievements in a similar role. As well
as being a proven field ecologist, you will also be an inspiring communicator, with
first class presentation, teaching and writing skills and have the ability to plan and achieve the programme objectives.

A current driving licence and minibus experience is also essential.
