Description

Cornwall Council has an exciting role available for a qualified Ecologist to provide specialist advice to the environment and planning services along with other partners. The primary requirements of the role are to be the point of contact for professional ecological advice and guidance for the Council’s planning teams, capital projects and estate management.

You will be the point of contact for ecological advice on strategic planning and corporate policy documents and contribute to their preparation, advising on Biodiversity Net Gain and Habitats Regulations Assessments for the Council as a Competant Authority. You will represent the Council at meetings with local and national organisations and partnerships and to promote the Council’s biodiversity commitments and policies.
