Ecologist, Derby – Specialist Ecological Consultancy.

A Derby based Ecological Consultancy is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Ecologist to join their award-winning organisation. This business is made up of three offices strategically placed across the Midlands and has grown from a team of 2 to a team of over 20 within 4 years!

The chosen Ecologist will work alongside the existing team, managing their own projects and delegating work to junior members of staff. You will also receive support from the Senior and Principal Ecologists located in the Derby team which will ensure your own pathway for development and progression.

You will hold at least 3 years’ experience in ecological consultancy and possess at least one protected species licence (Bat or GCN preferred). Your experience will demonstrate an ability to conduct both field and office based ecological activities and reveal proven experience in managing projects and liaising with clients. A full CIEEM membership and clean, UK driving licence will also be expected.   

Salary – £23,000 to £27,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits.

Location – Derby, Derbyshire.

Reporting to – Principal Ecologist, Derby.
