We are seeking to employ an Ecologist on a permanent contract to work within a small but well established team in our Sussex office. The Ecology Consultancy has been operating since 1999 and our regional office in Lewes since 2007. We are the largest dedicated ecology company in the area and have forged close relationships with private and public sector organisations. Our current workload includes survey, assessment and mitigation work on a wide variety of projects comprising; historic building restoration, housing developments, highway works and infrastructure schemes. Our clients include firms of architects, planning consultants, engineering companies, statutory agencies and local authorities. We are looking for a confident and experienced team player who can lead surveys and mitigation for bats and who has a previous record of project management and delivery. The post will be based from our Sussex office with the main areas of work being Sussex, Kent and Surrey. The project based nature of our work means that there will be a requirement to undertake such travel as is necessary to successfully carry out contracts.
