Right now, we’re looking for an experienced mid-senior ecologist to join our national ecology team in any of our Queensland offices (Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast).
 
To be successful in the role you will be a motivated ecological professional with at least 5 years professional experience. You will have a flair for delivering innovative environmental solutions and working with clients across a diverse range of projects. Possessing formal qualifications in ecology/botany/zoology or a related field, you will be able to deliver outcomes across a range of environmental projects, including environmental impact studies, ecological management plans, conservation strategies and broad-scale ecological assessments.
 
Specifically, the successful applicant will have a good working understanding of the planning and environmental approvals system relating to ecological values in Queensland. Demonstrated field experience in either flora or fauna assessments (or both), with particular experience Queensland, working knowledge of the ecological issues relevant to development and infrastructure projects, flexibility and adaptability to varied and changing project demands, particularly relating to large infrastructure projects, ability coordinate the ecology component of projects, good writing and communication skills and solid, yet realistic, environmental ethics.
