Description

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified ecologist to join the Planning & Countryside department. Responsibilities of the post include providing ecological advice on planning applications, appeals and EIA’s, preparation of LDP policies and the co-ordination of biodiversity data.
Applicants should have a relevant degree and be a member of (or be working towards) CIEEM. A good understanding of relevant legislation and policies is essential as are sound ecological survey skills, the ability to communicate clearly and work to deadlines.
