Greenspace Ecological Solutions is an independent consultancy based in the South East and in response to continued growth we are seeking ecologists to expand our existing ecological team. The successful candidate/s will join a company who welcome fresh ideas, commitment and a drive for the highest possible standards of service. 

Providing ecological advice across a range of disciplines, we have an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality pragmatic solutions to our clients whilst maintaining integrity in our ecological standards of work. 

Working as part of a team the successful candidate will manage various projects and the salary and job specification will be dependent on experience. As such a wide range of candidates are encouraged to apply.

Candidate Specification:

* A minimum of two years’ experience working within an ecological consultancy; * A degree in ecology or related subject; * At least one Natural England EPS licence (ideally a Class 2 or higher Bat Licence); * Experience of managing projects and liaising with and providing high quality technical support and advice to clients within an ecological consultancy setting; * Have survey experience for a variety of habitats and protective species surveys; * Have good working knowledge of survey methodology; * Experience of writing reports, method statements and management plans and have a clear and concise writing style; * A sound knowledge of UK & EU wildlife legislation and be effective at communicating this; * Have some experience of the production of EPSM Licence applications, chapters for EcIA, BREEAM and CfSH; * Commercial awareness and a high degree of organisation; * An eye for detail; * IT literate with CAD / electronic mapping experience desired;

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary is negotiable, depending on experience

Our office is based within the country estate of Blackham Court, Hartfield, TN7 4DB, with free parking and easy access to the surrounding countryside.
