Haycock and Jay Associates is a unique ecology practice based in the market town of Otley, West Yorkshire. Established in 2010, we are proud to have built a strong reputation across the development, conservation and public engagement sectors.

Our diverse group of professional ecologists undertake a varied portfolio of work including significant botanical projects in Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale AONB, protected species work in a variety of ancient properties and protected landscapes and herbivore impact assessment and condition assessment from Cape Wrath to the Dark Peak, as well as a wide range of development-related projects.

Who we are looking for

We are currently seeking an Ecologist to join our team of seven ecologists and botanists. Whilst you will be fully supported in your role, you will need to have a track record in managing your time and projects.

Person specification:

• Experience managing small to medium projects and surveys, with support;
• EPS Survey Licence/s, or similar taxonomic group specialism;
• Member of CIEEM (or eligible); and,
• Full UK driving licence.
