An excellent opportunity to join a well-established ecological consultancy as we enter the next stage of our expansion for 2022.

Based in North-West England but working across the UK, we pride ourselves on offering a highly commercial, personable and professional service to a wide ranging client base across the residential, commercial and transport sectors.

Our friendly and dedicated team possesses a wide range of skill sets and would eagerly welcome and support the right candidate.

You will be based in our new offices in Manchester City Centre which open in August 2022, and we offer 50/50 hybrid working.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have experience in/understanding of Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey/PEA and/or protected species surveys such as Great Crested Newt, bats, reptiles, invertebrates, and birds.
  • Be able to write professional, clear reports based on a template.
  • Understand protected species constraints and opportunities on development sites
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Have a full UK driving licence, use of a car and be willing to travel and stay away from home fairly regularly.
  • Be commercially minded.

Not essential but advantageous:

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Hold protected species licences.
