Norfolk Wildlife Services - Ecological Assistant
£14,500 - £17,000 p.a. pro rata (depending on experience) full time (35 hours per week) for a period of 6 months (with possible 6 month extension)

Norfolk Wildlife Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Norfolk Wildlife Trust undertaking environmental consultancy work with a county and regional focus.

An Ecological Assistant is required to work with our small team. Work to include organising and giving administrative support to consultancy projects, offering IT and GIS skills, and some biodiversity surveys. The successful candidate will be expected to show high levels of initiative, self-motivation and accept working under tight deadlines. Knowledge in specialist areas, most importantly field skills with fauna and flora, will be advantageous as is prior experience of nature conservation and/or commercial consultancy work. The post would suit a recent graduate with some experience who is wishing to gain further skills and knowledge in consultancy.
