Description

The use of the MSC’s trademarks is strictly governed by a number of regulations and standards and this work, together with the task of collecting royalty payments, is conducted by the MSCI Licensing Team.

This department also performs these same licensing duties on behalf of an external organisation: Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) for use of their logo relating to products from responsible fish farms.

Both organisations have experience sustained growth across the globe and now there is an exciting opportunity within the MSCI Licencing team to manage accounts based in The Netherlands.

The Licensing team sits within the Corporate Services team based in the London head office. The role of Ecolabel Account Officer (EAO), will report to the MSCI Licensing Team Manager.

Key responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for ecolabel approval and protection in The Netherlands, and other regions when required. The role will involve processing requests for use of the MSC Ecolabel and financial statements. The post holder will also be involved developing and communicating policies and procedures to both internal and external clients.

Team members work closely with the commercial staff in the regional offices, communicating with them as required to discuss and resolving licensing and commercial issues. It will also involve building relationships with customers and some travel will be necessary.

Skills required

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
