Ecodesign Coordinator

Your tasks:

• Reporting to the BEUC Director of Sustainability and the ANEC Sustainability and Services Programme Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the ANEC/BEUC Project on Ecodesign, Energy Labelling and Tyre Labelling. These activities include representing the consumer interests at the EU Ecodesign Consultation Forum, drafting position papers on the future Ecodesign workplan, the revision of the Ecodesign method and providing technical comments on specific product groups such as household appliances and ICT products;
• Coordinating BEUC’s project on the EU Energy Label;
• Coordinating a network of technical experts;
• Providing intelligence on sustainable product policy to BEUC’s and ANEC’s members;
• Contributing to technical standardisation work with ANEC staff and experts;
• Liaising with other ANEC/BEUC projects and workstreams on the European Green Deal, the Circular Economy Action Plan, product durability and repair, the EU Ecolabel, energy efficiency and renewable energies etc.
