Description

Your primary role is to lead on earth science issues within CCW’s South & East Region. You will contribute to the protection of Wales’ World-class geological heritage through the notification and monitoring of geological SSSI, in addition to advising on the appropriate management for these sites.

You will also help to promote geoconservation in Wales through contributing to publications, interpretation initiatives, media work, CCW website etc. You will contribute to the integration of geodiversity into CCW, Welsh Government and UK-wide government policies and initiatives. Supporting volunteer and other groups with an interest in geodiversity, such as RIGS groups, Geoparks, LGAP partnerships, will also raise awareness of the importance of geodiversity.
