Opening for a dog trainer/handler position at the Cheetah Conservation Fund; Namibia.
The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is looking for a dog trainer/handler to train scat sniffing dogs for its research projects. The dogs will be used to find cheetah specific scat samples; the samples will be included in genetic studies (census and population structure) as well as prey analysis and hormone studies. The position is available right away. The successful candidate should have experience in dog training (scent dogs ideally), be able to adapt the dog training to the requirements of the research team, speak English, and be able to move to the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia. Food and housing are provided; salary is dependent on previous experience.
