This position will explore the potential conservation benefits that could be realized through the development of a plan of engagement with Native American Tribes and their respective natural resources organizations. The initial effort will look at working with those tribes located in the lower 48 states, concentrating primarily on those located in the western United States. 

The intern will produce a White Paper/analysis to include:

  • TNC situation analysis – current and significant historic partnership with tribes; and
  • Opportunities for partnerships in North America.
