Dive Research Program & Optional Spanish Classes

This project offers the opportunity to study and monitor endangered fish in a volcanic crater lake. The work is focused on discovering new species, determining native ranges and habitats of species, and evaluating the threats and needs for native species posed by human activity.

Volunteers pay for accommodation and meals (e.g. US$350 for 4 weeks) and for every single tank dive (US$40). Low-cost Spanish language classes are available to volunteers.
