Dive Officers - PADI instructors

This marine conservation project is looking to hire two long-term PADI instructors - one to start ASAP and the other to begin in September. The dive officers main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching PADI dive courses from Open Water through Dive Master; care and maintenance of all dive-related materials and equipment; managing beach clean-up activities, working with volunteers and local children; teaching underwater data collection methods to volunteers.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is interested in pursuing a career in international development/marine conservation to gain hands-on, field experience.

Compensation: on-site lodging and meals; on-site health expense coverage; possible reimbursement of flight at end of contract period depending on funding received over the contract term; refund of insurance costs; opportunity to take part in research activities, lead survey dives and teach other in research methods after training.
