An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well experienced individual to develop their career with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy with a global presence.  The purpose of this post is to substantially grow the business and its profitability, to the point where our client is recognised as the market leader in the geo-environmental sector.
It is expected that you will regularly secure major new client portfolios.  Another key element of this role will be to identify new opportunities within the geo-environmental/contaminated land sector and develop capabilities for emerging domestic and international markets, and consolidate others in the UK.  With support from other members of the team, you will hold responsibility for all commercial aspects of delivery as well as developing and coordinating business.
You will be a technically accomplished contaminated land professional with a high level of understanding of the other disciplines.  With an outstanding personal reputation in the market place, you will have extensive senior management experience in a high profile environmental consultancy or a similar role within a major organisation.  Geographical knowledge and a network of business contacts specifically within the City are a must for this role.  You should hold a relevant first degree, ideally along with a higher level second degree and membership of an appropriate professional body.  A full driving licence is essential.
Our client benefits from strong foundations and currently has a good list of blue chip clients.  It is offering a very competitive salary and benefits package for this key role working as a central and leading player in the geo-environmental discipline.
