The Director of Sales Operations will collaborate directly with SolarCity’s Vice President of Sales, executive team and various managers across the organization to create and implement marketing strategies and policies designed to achieve specific sales objectives. 
 
Responsibilities

Lead and oversee SolarCity’s Sales Operations Division, including establishing training programs for the company’s sales representatives to ensure consistency in business procedures, reporting and strategy implementation.  Develop and direct SolarCity’s pipeline management, forecasting methodologies, and quota and territory initiatives.  Direct the distribution of SolarCity’s products to its customers, assigning and managing sales regions, and advising and directing sales performance.  Establish policies and guidelines for a large team of sales managers, sales people and sales support staff for the purpose of tracking progress of strategic accounts, marketing campaigns and sales pipeline and forecasts.  Develop marketing analytic scorecards and complete channel-by-channel cost acquisition analysis and corresponding cost of acquisition reduction outcomes.  Direct the filtration, organization and incorporation of sales leads into SolarCity’s sales pipeline tools.  Oversee execution of current marketing plans and programs across the organization.  Analyze statistics gathered by SolarCity’s sales team and establish and implement performance measures companywide that are designed to track and report progress.  Conduct analyses of SolarCity’s customer lifecycles in both the commercial and residential markets for trends.  Build reporting capabilities to show sales performance and sales cycle dynamics and ensure that SolarCity’s Sales Operations Division supports sales forecasts.  Develop and achieve sales targets utilizing transactional selling methodologies, field sales teams, channel partners and alliances.  Ensure that SolarCity’s sales technologies and data systems support its business strategies, including sales force and contract automation.  Represent the Sales Operations Division in expansion and product launch meetings with SolarCity’s executive team.
