SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

We’re looking for an experienced Online Marketing Director to direct the development of company e-commerce marketing programs and overall website strategy to maximize the brand presentation, consumer experience and support the integrated internet marketing strategy for the company. The incumbent will manage the research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technological and demographic factors, and designs marketing plans to capitalize on market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in an internet company or extensive online marketing experience in a similar capacity working in B2B/B2C

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represents consumer, marketing, and merchandising point of view to identify new business/content opportunities and effectiveness of programs.
• Works with the development team for implementation and testing of all new functions/features. · Manages website strategy to optimize online marketing tools and programs such as website customer interface, search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliate marketing, email marketing, etc.
• Forms online content partnerships, measures web usage/trends and manages vendor relationships.
• May direct advertising programs both online and offline.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in online marketing management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related.
• Creativity to develop compelling marketing programs and advertising campaigns.
• Proven success in launching campaigns from inception through full integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable creating original content. Adept at crafting and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
• Ability to lead and motivate internal cross-functional peers and external business partners. Work with all levels of management, including senior executives.
• Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, team environment. Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and competently manage multiple project initiatives at once.
• Occasional domestic travel to staff tradeshow events and present to clients.
• Good understanding of site instrumentation and analytic tools. Coremetric and SalesForce a plus.
