Position Description
The Director of Marketing Technology is responsible for all of Defenders of Wildlife and Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund websites as well as the smooth functioning of our Content Management System (CMS), Electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) platform, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, integration of data via API or appends, Ecommerce platform, all other technology pertaining to various giving channels such as mobile, social media, etc. As the director of technology, this position oversees all website information architecture and implementation, product enhancements to the CMS and CRM/eCRM; optimization of the performance of Defenders’ sites; and other special projects as needed. Effective file audit to confirm data accuracy, health of the file, data consistency, and vendor performance is one of the key responsibilities of this position.
