We seek a Director, Gulf of Mexico Restoration Campaign to serve as the leader of the Gulf-wide restoration campaign for NWF and will be located in the Southeast Gulf Region in Florida, Alabama, or Mississippi. The Director, Gulf of Mexico Restoration Campaign primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the development of a strategy for Gulf-wide restoration and participating in the coordination of executing the same among individuals across the organization that have a role in defining, funding and delivering Gulf-wide restoration. Because of existing relationships which are already targeted to some areas of restoration in the Gulf of Mexico, it is important that this role is executed in coordination with other internal stakeholders at NWF, for example: the Coastal Louisiana/Mississippi Delta team. Additionally, this position will be a key liaison to federal Regional and state agencies on the Gulf restoration process and will be responsible for strengthening and broadening existing relationships, as well as building new relationships with both traditional and nontraditional allies.
