The Role of the Global Energy Programme Director: To support and participate in EMEA strategy development for sustainable business growth and to lead development and implementation of programmes to reduce energy intensity and environmental impact of assigned clients' operations Promote the Energy & Sustainability LOB within the EMEA region by engaging with assigned G1000 clients Secure, manage and maintain senior Client relationships that facilitate engagement of their business in delivering positive energy and environmental initiatives Engage in preparation of proposals and associated commercial dialogue that support the wider Building Efficiency goals and objectives for business retention and development Maintain close understanding of client business drivers and environmental initiatives Manage and maintain regional supplier relationships (working with EMEA strategy) Procure and manage subcontract services as required to deliver operations Manage day to day delivery of contracted obligations Create an annual business plan / finance plan and quarterly forecasts for assigned areas of commercial responsibility Profit & Loss management for the area of responsibility (assigned accounts and regional business) Commercial management of assigned contracts to optimise trade working capital and minimise debt Contract administration of assigned contracts and management of Contract Variation Orders People Secure and manage the required resources to support efficient delivery of services Implement staff development and training plans to support group and personnel objectives The ideal Global Energy Programme Director should have/be: Practical knowledge and experience of National and International Environmental and Energy legislation and schemes Good presentation and written communication skills Assured communication, relationship, influencing and negotiating skills with customers and employees Technical expertise in implementing leading edge Energy/Utility reduction solutions Commercially excellent: experience in negotiating significant energy contracts Relevant degree & Membership of an appropriate Professional Association
