Director, Curbside Data Management

Philadelphia

This position oversees all day-to-day operational data management functions in support of Recyclebank’s Curbside Recycling Rewards program. Scope of data to be managed would include both client/member-related reference data and member transactional data. This person would be a senior member of the Data Management team for Recyclebank, reporting directly to the SVP, Data & Loyalty.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team comprised of three managers and 20+ staff members focused on data acquisition, cleansing, and manipulation.
  • Manage operational process for setting up required data for new curbside recycling accounts, maintenance of existing client accounts and transaction processing of data for member activity.
  • Develop and implement processes for reconciling, reporting, and verifying accuracy of member and client level data.
  • Create and present operational reporting packages to senior management and peers across the organization.
  • Maintainstrong relationships with vendors and partners, including local governments and waste haulers to ensure consistency in the exchange of data.
  • Work on both tactical and strategic data-related initiatives on an as needed basis.
  • Lead the development, continuous improvement and enforcement of data management standards with the objective of ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of client, member and transactional rewards data.

Experienced at measuring situations, and using judgment to make difficult decisions
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in reference data managementor in accounting, income control, or auditrelated work preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Information Sciences, or a related field required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,Word and Visio.
