Director, Climate Adaptation National Research Flagship

With a budget of over $30 million the Climate Adaption National Flagship draws on the expertise of staff from eight ofour clients Research Divisions. Partners include the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility, Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, AusAID and other industry, government and community groups. The Flagship also oversights a strategic collaboration involving a number of Universities, assessing adaptation options for South East Queensland as a well as a new initiative focussed on climate adaptation technologies and engineering for extreme events.

You will bring to the role the ability to work effectively at a senior level, experience in providing high level scientific leadership, excellent commercial, policy and strategic acumen and exceptional skills in collaborating and influencing. 

LOCATION: Canberra preferred, with Melbourne or Brisbane negotiable
SALARY: An attractive executive salary package is negotiable
