About the Job
This role will be located in the APAC region, preferably Australia or Hong Kong. Fluency in English a must (business Chinese and/or Japanese preferred).
As the Director, Client Solutions APAC at OPOWER you will have responsibility for accelerating growth in the APAC market for OPOWER, delivering against sales and business development goals in the 2012 - 2015 operating plan, and will be well-compensated for exceeding these goals. You will report into the Senior Director and GM, APAC, who is based in San Francisco, CA.
You will have to opportunity to co-lead the sales strategy and tactics of where best to expand the OPOWER business in region, do the regulatory prep work, rally Opower behind these initiatives, and ultimately deliver on multi-million dollar deals.
Responsibilities
Work with our prospective international clients to influence their organization, their long-term vision and their needs around energy efficiency, the Smart Grid, and sustained customer engagement. Understand and influence the country-specific regulatory environments and ensure these environments are favorable to selling behavior-based energy efficiency and SmartGrid programming.
- You will have an annual quota for delivering against the APAC operating plan.
- You will work closely with the Senior Director and GM, APAC; OPOWER President; SVP of Client Solutions; VP of Regulatory Affairs; Marketing; Product; Legal; and Operations to execute the tactics to close business and then ensure our Operations team is poised to deliver on that business in the APAC region.
