RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Project Analytics, and Business Unit Teams to develop systems reporting capabilities and determine appropriate delivery mechanisms (dashboards, portals, electronic media, hard copy versions).
Develop and implement organizational training on the use of business portals and delivery mechanisms to facilitate self-service financial reporting skills.
Partner with transactional & and analytical Finance and Accounting Teams to generate and deliver analytics and management reporting.
Prepare and provide timely financial performance and project based reporting for all organizational levels.
Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, annual reports for earnings release and internal/external reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act financial reporting requirements.
Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures for SEC filings and supporting MD&A and footnotes; maintain adequate support and documentation for all supporting SEC filing information.
Collaborate with Investor Relations and SEC/SOX reporting functions on periodic and public reporting analytical requirements.
Provide technical consulting support on the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
Monitor and revise policies and procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
Manage, guide, and mentor Accounting Team, including broader interaction with transactional processing, project and revenue accounting, and contract administration.
As a key member of the Business Systems Team, partner with Business Unit Leaders and Teams to create and manage a solutions oriented service function prepared for today’s business challenges
Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with progress toward advanced education.
CPA or other professional designation (CPA, CMA, other Accounting/ Finance related).
Minimum 8 years experience, including SEC reporting and Big 4 public accounting work environments.
Progressive and proven experience leading financial reporting services and enterprise system implementation or integration with demonstrated emphasis on work process simplification and improvement, preferably within a commercial project engineering or construction accounting work environment.
Advanced proficiency in US GAAP and technical research.
Demonstrated experience with MS Dynamics or similar general ledger software and reporting systems.
Advanced business acumen with superior attention to detail, numeric, analytical, problem-solving, financial reporting skills and abilities.
Strong verbal, written, computer, and financial data communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, make well-reasoned and timely decisions, and perform multiple tasks within accelerated deadlines.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with multiple management, finance, and business unit levels.
Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
Travel may be required.
