Director - Ecologically Sustainable Development (VG/1005)

As an agency of the Victorian Government, Sustainability Victoria (SV) is the catalyst for sustainable growth and development in Victoria. We bring together the knowledge and capabilities of people, organisations and communities to deliver integrated social, economic and environmental outcomes.

Sitting on the Executive Team, this is a new position that will manage a large team and range of programs within the Sustainable Environs group. The Sustainable Environs group influences the sustainability performance and use of new and existing buildings and encourages sustainable precincts and communities.

Ideally you will have a background in performing in an executive level role and the sustainable environs space, and an understanding of government policy making and process. You will be highly regarded for your strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and will possess the ability to develop strong networks delivering sustainable solutions to stakeholders, with a particular focus on listening and understanding others’ needs.
