Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is looking for a communications professional to coordinate printed communications to our crew. The Direct Marketing Coordinator oversees mail cash appeals, end of financial year tax receipts, the publication and distribution of our supporter newsletter and other printed materials as required. Essentially, this role helps us communicate with and retain our crew, meaning that we can continue to win big-impact campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work within the Advancement team to implement effective direct and indirect marketing to meet and exceed defined and agreed appeal targets in terms of crew engagement and financial measures;
  • Contribute to the successful management of appeals processes, ensuring that all communications through internal mechanisms and external agencies are sent to supporters on time and within budget;
  • Monitor and analyse market competitors to engage in a process of continuous improvement and implement best fundraising and appeals practices; and
  • Assist in the development of other fundraising programs as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have:

  • 1 year of experience in direct marketing with particular focus on mail appeals;
  • Experience with the Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce Databases is desirable;
  • Drive to consistently deliver high quality work; and
  • An eye for design and the ability to produce engaging content.

* Salary: $67,953.43 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation
