Direct Marketing & Donor Relations, Director

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and manage income strategies and budgets for direct marketing and donor/ member initiatives.
• Execute the organization's mission through its marketing initiatives to various publics nationwide  
• Meet all objectives in a cost effective manner
• Expand the organization's customer and donor base

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
• A minimum of ten years experience in donor/member driven direct marketing, preferably in the nonprofit arena, or the equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Proven resource management and team-building skills
• Success in developing creative, market-driven strategies to acquire, renew, recapture and upgrade donors/members based on historical data
• Proven ability to direct and manage a multi-media, multi-channel marketing program that includes direct mail, all pilot endeavors, e-mail marketing, telemarketing, print media, market research, packaging, distribution and sales
• A thorough knowledge of direct marketing disciplines, database marketing methods and systems,
• Experience in analyzing donor/member file data to identify market trends and patterns
