Greenpeace is looking for a Direct Dialogue Coach to take responsibility for the in-house Direct Dialogue team in Sydney, leading by example to uphold the professional standards and the aims, values and reputation of Greenpeace.

Greenpeace campaigns to protect the natural world and find solutions to environmental problems. As we don’t solicit money from government or corporations, we rely solely on individual supporters to fund our work. Direct Dialogue is our highly successful face-to-face fundraising program, raising 80% of our funding.

This is an outstanding opportunity offering challenge and contribution to the strategic development of the program. Supported by the Direct Dialogue Manager you will take responsibility for the recruitment, training, coaching and management of around 30 Direct Dialogue Fundraisers.

The successful applicant will be using their excellent leadership and communication skills and drawing on at least a year's face-to-face fundraising experience to train, motivate and inspire our Direct Dialoguers to achieve their fundraising goals. You will be on the street with the Direct Dialoguers on a daily basis, enabling you to engender a strong, supportive and productive team environment.

As well as the opportunity to make a difference on crucial issues, Greenpeace offers employees a supportive work environment and a real commitment to life/work balance. We also encourage staff to develop new skills, take on challenges and get involved in the wider organisation.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) permanent position based in Sydney. Applications close 3rd August 2014 and must address the selection criteria in the full job description. Interviews are scheduled to take place on 6th August.
