Greenpeace is seeking TWO digital specialists to join our campaign team in Auckland, New Zealand.

Both positions are integral to our campaigning, communications, marketing and fundraising programmes, and report directly to the head of digital.

 

The successful applicants will have a broad range of skills and experience in digital campaigning tactics and technologies.Together they will form a dynamic duo - with different but complementary strengths covering everything from design, UX, video production and story-telling to technical output, development and data analysis.

Greenpeace is at the forefront of environmental campaigning and the internet is transforming the way we campaign.  This is a fantastic opportunity to put yourself into the front seat of one of the world's most effective environmental campaigning organisations at a time when winning has never been more important.

The digital producers will be part of a newly grown team which is increasingly becoming a driving force within Greenpeace NZ and will work closely with the wider global Greenpeace network of Greenpeace digital practitioners.

You'll be developing and implementing online campaign strategies and tactics to win campaigns, increase revenue and engage a large and growing community of online supporters in engaging and effective ways.

Having worked on websites and in social media, preferably in a campaigning context, you know how to use your background in digital communications and technologies to mobilise, inspire and effect change.

You'll have co-responsibility for developing and implementing a digital strategy aimed at growing and increasing the effectiveness of Greenpeace's overall online presence. This will include producing engaging and effective communications, increasing engagement with and of our supporters, building our email list and web site traffic, and increasing our revenue stream.

A synchronicity with Greenpeace's goals and values is essential.  You should also have initiative, enthusiasm, commitment and creative flair. You'll have proven ability to utilise digital tactics strategically and be willing to roll up your sleeves and do the hard yards.

The ability to work to tight deadlines, thrive under pressure and handle multiple projects at once is essential.
