Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity, working on a local scale to benefit people and our environment. We are concerned about climate change, social justice and community development.  We would like to see a future where everyone is able to heat their home affordably, eat well, and tread more lightly on our planet.

We are recruiting for an experienced Development Worker to join Greener Kirkcaldy’s Community Engagement Team. This is an exciting opportunity if you have a passion for engaging communities in: climate change; eating well through food and growing projects; reducing waste; and encouraging everyone to ‘go greener together’.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working in community development or environmental education. Experience of planning and delivering practical food and growing activities would be a particular advantage for this post. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, experience of delivering activities to groups, the ability to work with a range of people, and work well in a team as well as on your own.

We will consider requests for part-time hours.
