Overview:  The Development Systems Administrator fulfills key administrative and operational needs of the Development Department.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Tracking and Reporting
a. Track departmental revenue and expenses, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate revenue processing and reporting.
b. Produce pipeline reports to support fundraising team activity and to inform revenue projections.
c. Ensure proper documentation and processes are observed by Development team members in the allocation and acknowledgement of funds. 
d. Direct and supervise the Data Co-ordinator on revenue recording.

2. Constituent Database Management
a. Lead the integration of Evergreen’s current constituent databases (Raiser’s Edge, Blue State Digital, Camp Brain and Salesforce).
b. Oversee use of donor database, including training and inter-departmental requirements as required.
c. Recommend and implement database standards, use guidelines and policies.
d. Ensure active and ethical data collection through all means.
e. Train and supervise the Data Co-ordinator.

3. Administration Support
a. Assist with administrative needs across the department, including meeting arrangements, helping with the production of departmental reports, filing, correspondence, etc.
b. Assist Managers and the Director with departmental HR needs, such as vacation tracking, completing the annual performance review cycle, tracking the professional development budget, etc.
c. Assist with information gathering from Evergreen departments necessary for fundraising and donor stewardship.
d. Standardize and systematize department-wide requirements (ex. Thank you letters).
e. Manage and assist in developing departmental policies and procedures.
f. Supervise volunteers fulfilling administrative roles.

Qualifications:
• College or university level education
• Five to ten years experience in administration and/or database management.
• Superior knowledge of Raiser’s Edge essential, and working knowledge in other databases an asset.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports an asset
• Experience with MS Excel and other relevant programs.
• Knowledge of accounting

Working conditions:
• Regular hours, Monday-Friday
