Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), the leader in wetland conservation, is looking for a dynamic communicator to join our team and assist with the development of professional strategic marketing materials reflecting DUC’s brand and integrating DUC’s key messages.  You are a self-motivated, creative and energetic collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  You are detail-oriented and demonstrate amazing poise and balance under pressure while juggling numerous deadline-driven projects.

Your minimum three years’ communication and marketing experience makes you the ideal candidate for this position, which may be located in Calgary or Edmonton, AB.  You possess strong organizational, time management, project management and interpersonal skills.  Your ability to see the big picture and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done will make you a great asset to our team.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in communications, marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop a variety of communications materials for various mediums (i.e. letters, proposals, presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, capacity to handle a high volume workload and project management skills are vital in this role.
  • Familiarity with non-profit or environmental conservation sectors would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of stewardship and/or major gift programs would also be an asset.
