Description

The UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre strives for a sustainable world for biodiversity and people.  Based in Cambridge, UK, we’ve worked with a wide range of project partners to turn data and knowledge into insights for global decision makers for over 35 years.

We are looking for a highly motivated and competent Development Officer to act as the Development team focal point for routine information and technical knowledge on external funding and funders.

Your challenge is to research international funding opportunities, match them to our strategic priorities and help colleagues to create high quality, innovative and compelling project funding proposals.  You will be a proficient intelligence gatherer with a forensic eye for detail and have experience of the international funding landscape.  You’ll be able to spot opportunities, prospective partners and emerging trends.

You’ll enjoy working with our international team of experts drawn from 21 nationalities.  Our latest staff survey shows that over 90% believe that working at UNEP-WCMC provides exposure to interesting people and new ideas.  If this sounds like your kind of conservation charity, view our website www.unep-wcmc.org.

If you are looking for a rewarding and challenging post where you can impress us with your technical expertise and teamwork skills, we want to hear from you. To apply, please submit your application form, CV and covering letter by clicking on the link here by 11th August 2017.
