The Role

Primary Objectives

To assist the team in Poland to develop sites for onshore wind energy development, and to obtain all necessary permits, land rights and grid connection for the successful development of the sites. To assist the team with the provision of services to clients in connection with onshore wind energy projects. To research and develop business opportunities for Wind Prospect in Ukraine.

The Candidate

Wind Energy Development Functions and Duties 

• Site identification
• Site assessment and design
• Planning Applications
• Public RelationsBusiness Development Functions
• Work closely with staff in Poland, UK and Ireland to find, win and deliver consultancy work in Ukraine
• Build strong working relationships with Ukrainian and international clients and development partners in order to develop a strong and sustainable business in Ukraine

 

Management Functions and Other Duties

• Other Duties

 

PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES 

• Excellent English language skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues;
• An interest in renewable energy;
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn about wind resource assessment and other aspects of wind farm project analysis;
• Self-motivation and drive to inspire to learn and drive forward Wind Prospect’s development in Ukraine;
• Contribute to the culture of working in partnership and delivering capacity through our quality, pioneering and decisive approach;
• Able to adapt and work effectively and flexibly within a small team environment.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• Degree level qualifications or equivalent;
• Previous experience in wind farm development or a related business;
• Be able to travel throughout Ukraine, Poland and neighbouring countries and possibly on occasions further afield;
• Hold a current driving licence.

The Salary

 Salary is negotiable depending upon experience
