Global Green USA is seeking a dynamic Development Associate/Assistant to President to join the Development Department. This position will provide direct professional support for our President and CEO, as well as serve as support for our entire Development team.  This position requires exceptional organizational skills, interpersonal skills working with Board and Donors, the ability to multi-task and set priorities, as well the ability to work independently and as a team and most importantly to take initiative when needed.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant to President:

  • Schedule external meetings, all calls and travel for President/CEO.
  • Manage President’s correspondence and email, and speaking requests.
  • Generate CEO/President’s expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO/President.


Key Responsibilities as Development Associate:

  • Support President/CEO by overseeing Major Donors, Regional Committees, and Board of Directors outreach
  • Identify, organize, Major Donor prospects, as well as follow up internally on donor servicing.
  • Work directly with President and, including generating monthly email updates.
  • Support and assist President/ CEO and the Foundations and Corporate Relations Manager with corporate relations and foundations fundraising.
  • Assist with engaging Board of Directors, Regional Committees, and soliciting honorees and helping to secure dates for fundraising events.
  • Research, identify and establish corporate sponsorship prospects and foundation prospects and award candidates.
  • Maintain protocol and communication schedule for regional committees. Organize, schedule meetings and track fundraising and membership for regional committees.
  • Assist with communications and strategy around event for Council of Advisors.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience providing administrative support and/or high level constituent services, preferably in a non profit or fundraising capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven initiative and excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work on deadline.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong computer skills, PC & MAC proficient preferred. G-mail calendar, Raisers Edge or similar database a plus.

Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Salary range $32,000-37,000. Position includes full benefits including 401k plan. EOE.
